About the Film

World-renowned functional medicine expert Dr. Jill Carnahan draws on her own personal experience overcoming chronic illness and trauma, finding inspiration and healing in the darkest of times.

Dr. Jill tells her story of facing breast cancer at 25, Crohn’s Disease, and debilitating Mold Toxicity, learning lessons of true healing along the way. She uses this knowledge to treat her patients with not only a brilliant medical mind, but also a deep compassion and understanding of what it’s like to struggle with chronic illness. Often being the first doctor in her patients lives to give hope that healing is possible.

Even so, her greatest lesson, and her biggest step toward true healing comes from a dark personal tragedy and the re-birth that occurred in its wake.
